At Hidden Card Lab, we believe the most beautiful childhood memories aren't made in front of a screen. They're made in a game, in shared laughter, in a day spent together. That's why, on June 1st 2026 (International Children's Day), we joined an initiative that turned an ordinary day into a true celebration of childhood: Caravana Bucuriei (The Joy Caravan).
Organised by the Cuvioasa Paraschiva Foundation, in partnership with the Dimieni Parish in the village of Ograda, the event brought together 84 children and over 28 parents and companions in a park transformed, for a few hours, into a space of energy, play, and friendship.
It was a day full of dancing, music, and pure enthusiasm. The children ran, laughed, and competed in games built around movement and cooperation: the Fruit Game, the Tails Game, the Circle of Friendship, ball games, karaoke moments, and plenty of outdoor fun. With so many children taking part, the focus was exactly on what matters most: socialising, moving, and playing together.
At the end, every child went home with a puzzle, a small gift offered with love from Hidden Card Lab (Robotic Works S.R.L.). For us, it was never about a product. It was about the very thing we believe in: the genuine joy of a child opening a box and discovering a new adventure.

Why we do this
Hidden Card Lab started from a simple passion: the joy of collecting, playing, and sharing. It's a small microbusiness that I run on my own for now, but I believe that, when you can, it's only natural to give back to your community. Every puzzle, every game, and every card I bring from Japan has the same purpose: to bring real play, away from screens, to children and families across Romania.
